At Wilder Ranch Co, every puppy begins with intention. Our breeding program is built on ethical practices, thoughtful planning and a deep love for both the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and the longhaired Miniature Dachshund. We are committed to preserving the exceptional temperament, structure, and health that make each breed so beloved while raising puppies that become cherished members of their families for years to come. Health, temperament, and conformation are at the heart of every breeding decision we make. Each pairing is thoughtfully planned with the goal of producing puppies that are not only beautiful representatives of their breed, but also confident, intelligent, affectionate, and emotionally sound. Raised in our home alongside our children, our puppies receive individualized care from the moment they are born. Through early neurological stimulation (ENS), purposeful socialization, age-appropriate enrichment, and daily handling, they develop the confidence and resilience needed to transition successfully into their new homes. By the time they leave us, they have been introduced to everyday sights, sounds, and experiences that help lay the foundation for a lifetime of success. Every breeding dog in our program completes comprehensive health testing appropriate for its breed before becoming part of our breeding program. We are dedicated to producing healthy, well-balanced Pembroke Welsh Corgis and longhaired Miniature Dachshunds with exceptional temperaments and sound structure. Every puppy is backed by a written health guarantee and lifelong breeder support because we believe our responsibility extends far beyond go-home day. We take great pride not only in the dogs we raise, but also in the lasting relationships we build with the families who become part of the Wilder Ranch Co community. Choosing Wilder Ranch Co means more than bringing home a puppy! It means becoming part of a program rooted in integrity, transparency, and an unwavering commitment to preserving and improving both the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and eventually, the longhaired Miniature Dachshund for generations to come.

Welcome to Wilder Ranch Co

Hi there!

We're Ashley and Cody Olsen, the family behind Wilder Ranch Co. What began as a love for dogs has grown into a passion for both the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and the longhaired Miniature Dachshund- two incredible breeds we admire for their intelligence, loving temperaments, and versatility. Life on our small ranch is full and fast-paced. Between homeschooling our four children and cheering them on at sports, dance, rodeo, and 4-H, our Corgis and Dachshunds are right there beside us through it all. More than just pets, they're cherished members of our family, bringing endless joy, laughter, and unconditional love to our everyday lives. Our goal is simple: to raise healthy, well-socialized puppies with exceptional temperaments that will become beloved members of their own families. Every puppy is raised in our home with hands-on care, early socialization, and plenty of love, giving them the best possible start in life. We believe that bringing home a puppy should mean gaining not only a wonderful companion, but also a breeder who is committed to supporting you for years to come.

What makes us different

Thoughtful breeding, happy puppies, and support that lasts a lifetime.

Health tested sires and dams

We start with carefully selected, health-tested parents who are not just beautiful, they’re smart, stable, and loving. We know our dogs inside and out, so we can honestly tell you what to expect from their puppies.

Family raised from day 1

Our puppies are born and raised right here in our home- right in the middle of our everyday life. From the start, they're surrounded by the sounds and sights of the ranch: kids laughing, kitchen clatter, cattle calling, and the weekend bustle of rodeo life. They're handled daily and exposed to livestock, dirt roads, loud noises, and plenty of real world commotion. By the time they’re ready to head to their new homes, they’re well socialized, confident, and used to the hustle of a busy, loving home, ready to fit right in with your family

Thoughtful puppy foundations

We follow a proven, gentle puppy curriculum designed to give each pup the best possible start. This includes:

  • Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)

  • Positive exposure to new sights, sounds, and textures

  • Crate introduction, potty training and basic manners

  • Age-appropriate socialization with kids, adults, and other animals

Past puppies

Ashley was amazing and made this entire process so easy. I have a 3.5 year old Aussie, so it was really important for me to find the right fit for her. I shared what I was looking for, and we both decided that Squirtle (now Fisher) was the perfect match. From the moment I met him, it was obvious how much time, care, and intention she puts into raising her puppies. He is incredibly friendly with everyone and every dog he’s met so far. He transitioned into his new routine seamlessly and is a pro with crate training and has been sleeping through the night. As someone who spends a lot of time training my dog, I’ve been so impressed with how quickly he learns and how eager he is to please. One of my favorite things is seeing how excited he gets around kids, something that’s especially important to me with herding breeds. I’m so grateful I found Ashley and the program she’s built at Wilder Ranch Corgis. Fisher has already been coming to my office and meeting my patients, and he truly feels like the perfect addition to our little family. I can confidently recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a puppy, you will be so happy.
