Meet the Olsens
Hi! We’re Ashley and Cody Olsen, the faces behind Wilder Ranch Corgis. Our story begins in the warm deserts of Arizona, where we were both born, raised, and eventually started our family. For nearly a decade, life took us on the road—traveling across the country in a toy hauler for Cody’s work as a journeyman lineman. Those years were filled with big skies, new places, and memories we’ll hold onto forever. After nine years of wandering, we found our place in the rolling hills of Northern California and finally planted some roots. Today, we live on 20 acres of open space with our four beautiful kids, our corgis, and a small crew of horses, goats, pigs, and chickens. Life here is busy, a little dusty, and full of laughter, love, and the kind of chaos that comes with raising kids and animals side by side. I’m a stay-at-home mom who homeschools our children, which also allows me to be fully hands-on with every litter we raise. Our puppies grow up right in the heart of our home and ranch life—surrounded by kids, livestock, and constant activity. It’s the perfect environment for raising confident, well-socialized, family-ready puppies. We are passionate about preserving everything that makes the Pembroke Welsh Corgi such a beloved breed: their health, temperament, intelligence, and undeniable charm. Each litter is raised with intention, care, and a whole lot of love. Our dogs are more than pets—they’re family. And when one of our puppies goes home with you, you become part of our family too.Thank you for being here. We’re so glad you stopped by. 🐾
Where Puppies and Childhood Meet
Our four kids—ages 10, 8, 6, and 4—play an incredibly special role in raising our puppies. They’re involved from day one, helping with gentle handling, early socialization, playtime, and giving each puppy the kind of love and attention only children can provide. From carrying puppies around the house to reading books beside them to letting them nap in their laps, our kids naturally teach the puppies confidence, patience, and trust. Because of them, our puppies grow up used to little voices, busy hands, laughter, movement, and real family life—making them wonderfully prepared to join homes with children of their own. Our kids truly help shape these puppies into the well-socialized, affectionate companions they become.
